Why Plan Ahead?
No one really likes to think or talk about death. But when a death occurs, especially unexpectedly, a family member or friend is left to make all the difficult decisions of arranging a funeral. Most have little idea of what is involved, what the costs are, and what the deceased would have wanted. That is why everyone needs a ‘death plan’. Such things as patient rights, power of attorney, estate and tax planning, advance directives, living will, hospice, all are a part of end of life decisions and need to be discussed with family. But, the ultimate gift of love to your family is the pre-planning of your funeral.
